How To Wash A Shower Curtains

Chaging the curtains in your bathroom can be quite expensive especially if you are after quality. What do you do if the curtain has some mildew and soap scum all over it?
Some people choose to soak it in the bath with some water and bleach. You need to be careful when using this method as over bleaching can have a negative effect on your beautifully colored brown blue shower curtain.
An option that is less complicated and risky is the washer i.e. simply put it in the washing machine. Whether it’s a plastic or a plastic covered fabric just put it in the washing machine and it will be cleaned. You might have to set the machine to be at non-rinse cycle and also use a normal detergent. An idea would be to put some towels in there as well so their abrasiveness can help in the cleaning process.
Other than that you can soak it in soda crystals. You can go for this option if you are looking for something that is eco-friendly. With this one you get no smell but 100% cleaniliness. Using this method is simple and straight forward, simply add some water in a bath and add the crystals then leave the curtain in there overnight.
I know some people who put their red shower curtains in the wash with the soda crystals instead of a normal washing detergent|in the bath and use the soda crystals. For the conditioning part, simply use some vinegar. I haven’t tried this but see no reason why it wouldn’t work.
