Dragon Statues – Where to Find Them
Many people enjoy the typical image of the dragon taking control of the world, now, there is even a dragon statue that is holding the globe of the world! Many people look up to dragons because of their mysterious power and intelligence. If you take a look at some of the best games in history, the dragon has usually been the ultimate boss, this is for a reason! I personally have always loved the image of a dragon statue claiming control over objects which we do not even have power over such as the world.
The myths of dragons date back before we could even record our thoughts. Even though dragons are thought to be the cause of destruction, they are intelligent and strong creatures, which is why to this day, thousands of years after their legends, are still around in the form of dragon statues. They can be compared to large dinosaurs or giant reptiles, with brute strength only found in species over a billion years in the past.
Currently, there are many collectors of dragon statues, this is because the Chinese believe that dragon statues carry a certain amount of ‘chi’ or positive energy. This shows that many are still more than intrigued in the pure strength and amazing powers that these mythical dragon statues held, and possibly still hold to this day. Since it is likely dragon statues are not going anywhere, perhaps we will continue to see them in our mainstream movies, our kids video games, and even as a good luck charm, in the form of a dragon figurine. Currently, there is no such mythical creature while often depicted as evil, is equally liked. Some information found in this article can be credited to a great article on dragon figures.
